Proverbs 3:5-7 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight”
Ray, from Lighthouse Ministries, talks about how the bible is composed of God’s characteristics. Just like curriculum vitaes will allow employers to understand who the potential employee may be like, the bible allows the reader to get a glimpse of who God is and how He works in our lives. Some people may blow up their resumes to make it seem more pleasing and impressive, but the bible is true to God’s character; nothing is exaggerated. The bible points out the highlights and how God has been guiding and working in those situations. At the end of many resumes, there may be a list of references, and Christians and followers of God are part of God’s references to His authenticity of His works and words.
